Free Concert Series' Coming To A Close

As the sun moves toward the equator, school begins and a fall feel settles in, North Lake Tahoe's ongoing series of free summer outdoor concerts are set to come to a close.

Friday, September 2nd - Music On The Beach - Kings Beach
This popular series, held on the sand at Kings Beach State Beach, will wrap it up with a lively performance by Achilles Wheel, a Nevada City based band that plays "high energy roots, world, and rock and roll music that makes you wanna dance."  Music starts at 6pm. Sunday, September 4th - Concerts on Commons Beach - Tahoe City.
The original free concerts in North Lake Tahoe will close out their 12th year and a 12-week series at Commons Beach with an opening set by local band the Beer Gardeners, and a headline performance by favorites Joy & Madness, a high energy "funk and soul revolution for your heart, hips and feet."  3pm start.  Details at www.concertsatcommonsbeach.com.

Tuesday, September 6th - Bluesdays - Palisades Tahoe.
The Village at Palisades Tahoe's ever-popular Bluesdays wraps it up with a return performance by ever-popular and wildly entertaining swamp blues master and multi-instrumentalist, Kenny Neal. Details at www.squawalpine.com.
