A Foot + Of Fresh Snow - Squaw Valley To Open Friday

The continuing flow of a potent 'atmospheric river' storm has dropped over a foot of new snow on Squaw Valley's upper mountain, cementing the plans for a much-anticipated opening day on Friday, November 17th. Squaw Valley plans to operate the Funitel and Gold Coast Express lifts accessing fresh snow and skiing and riding on the resort's upper mountain. More terrain is slated to open as snowfall continues and conditions allow.
