A strange, 'prehistoric' looking fish was discovered by a seven year-old boy last week in Griff Creek, near Kings Beach. The fish was brought to the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center in Incline Village where a biologist identified the fish as a common aquarium fish. The discovery highlights the impact of non-native species on the fragile Lake Tahoe environment.
