Tahoe Time Lapse: Early Snow Dusts Sugar Bowl
One of a few recent wintry storms, this one notably colder and stronger, rolled over the Sierra Crest on Sunday, October 2nd, leaving a nice dusting of snow on the slopes and peaks of Sugar Bowl on Donner Summit.Wild Wind, Waves & Water Pound The Shores of North Lake Tahoe
The seemingly incessant series of winter storms that have rolled through the Sierra this January turned wet and wild for a few days in early February. On February 9th, after three days of rain, the winds and waves kicked up to new heights (7' waves on the lake were forecast). During a jaunt along the North Shore, we captured this segment documenting the scene.
