A host of talented artists will take to the shores, paths, meadows and landscapes of North Lake Tahoe this week during the 2016 North Tahoe Arts Plein Air Open, June 13-18.
Lakeside Gourmet Picnic to Benefit North Tahoe Arts
North Tahoe Arts' 2016 Fundraiser, 'Monet's Table', being held on Saturday, September 24th, will feature a spectacular lakeside gourmet picnic lunch and art sale. Proceeds will benefit North Tahoe Arts and their continuing efforts to support the visual arts in North Lake Tahoe.
Wild Wind, Waves & Water Pound The Shores of North Lake Tahoe
The seemingly incessant series of winter storms that have rolled through the Sierra this January turned wet and wild for a few days in early February. On February 9th, after three days of rain, the winds and waves kicked up to new heights (7' waves on the lake were forecast). During a jaunt along the North Shore, we captured this segment documenting the scene.

Cards are on sale for the Truckee Tahoe Excellence in Education Foundation’s “Dining for Schools” fundraising program. Card holders will save fifty percent on individual dinner entrees at participating restaurants around Truckee and North Lake Tahoe during valid periods between now and next June.
