Renowned pianist Orion Weiss will perform Scriabin’s virtuoso Piano Concerto with Maestro Theodore Kuchar and the Orchestra. Also on the program is the regional premiere of Sidereus, a fascinating new piece by Osvaldo Golijov, MacArthur Fellowship recipient and one of today’s most important composers.  Sidereus was commissioned by the RCO and a consortium of 34 other American orchestras to honor Henry Fogel, former President of the League of American Orchestras and the Chicago Symphony, who is scheduled to be in attendance at our concerts. Also on the program will be the Fourth Symphony by Schumann.

Performance will be held at the Nightingale Concert  Hall at the University of Nevada, Reno. General Admission $40-$20, Youth/Student $5
