Northstar Property Owners Association, Northstar Fire Department, Northstar Community Services District, Contractor's Association of Truckee-Tahoe, Cal-Fire, UNR Cooperative Extension and a few other organizations are partnering to put on the Northstar Firewise Day, Saturday July 16, to educate the Northstar community on fire safety.  The festivities will be taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the NPOA Recreation Center below the Village.
