Fat Tuesday Live Music

2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Join Saint Gabriel's Celestial Brass Band in a Mardi Gras march to ring in Fat Tuesday!  We are excited to welcome this authentic New Orleans-style brass band to play on the Village Stage and around the Ice Skating Rink on Fat Tuesday, February 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Many of  the band members are veterans on legendary touring bands such as Herbie Hancock & the Headhunters, Rose Royce, George Clinton's Parliament Funkadelics, Tower of Power, Malo, Sly & The Family Stone, James Brown, Etta James band, Prince, Jimi Hendricks, Van Morrison band, Hank Ballard & the Midnighters, Johnny Otis band, The Temptations, Janis Joplin, John Lee Hooker, Queen Ida, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, and countless other great bands.  Some of the players proudly have Gold Records hanging on their walls!

Since forming the band in 1990, they have had the pleasure of taking their sounds all over the world to perform with the most prominent names in American Jazz & Blues, Soul and Funk at world-class festivals and music events.  The band originated with many transplanted New Orleans players and has attracted the attention of many superstar players over the years who have joined and contributed to the success of the band.
