Lake Tahoe SummerFest is a world-class celebration of the arts that enriches the cultural, educational and economic vitality of the Lake Tahoe Basin. Our quest is to provide music, art, theatre and seminars to local, national and international audiences. Lake Tahoe SummerFest includes several independently operated arts organizations presenting annual events during July and August in the pristine setting of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Lake Tahoe. SummerFest Concerts, our signature program,  presents classical music concerts in an acoustical tent on the campus of Sierra Nevada College with instrumentalists from the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic and other exceptional orchestras.
