Hear the World Sing in Reno!

One of the world's oldest musical traditions is enjoying a modern-day renaissance. Come enjoy the following FREE concerts when Reno proudly hosts some of the world’s best choirs during the American International Choral Festival, May 4-8. Reno is one of the series of international choral events produced by Interkultur, an organization that is dedicated to the goal of bringing people of all nations, cultures and ideologies together in peaceful competitions and songs. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy different musical genre with family and friends.

Free general admission tickets (a $10 value) are being offered for the following events.   
 

Opening Concert

The concert will feature performances from specially-selected choirs competing in the Festival

Wednesday, May 4, 7:30 p.m.
Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts

Doors open at 7:00pm
 

Grand Prix Concert

The closing concert features the winning choirs from multiple song categories and musical genre and the awards ceremony.

Saturday, May 7, 5:00 p.m.
Nightingale Concert Hall at Church of Fine Arts, University of Nevada Reno

 

Doors open at 4:30pm

 

 

Friendship Concert

The concert will feature a few of the choirs and is open to the public as first-come, first-serve (no ticket required).
