This hike will focus more on alpine botany than on covering terrain, but with all the remaining snow, the group may have to hike around a bit to find patches of vegetation. Steve Matson and Will Richardson will co-lead. Difficulty/Elevation Gain: mostly rolling and easy.

Hikers should arrive 10 minutes early to purchase Cable Car ticket and meet the group. All hikes start at High Camp, el. 8,200’ and last approximately 2 hours. Following the hike spend the day at High Camp, a mountaintop oasis offering fun for the whole family. Last Cable Car down is at 5pm. Hikes are limited to 30 participants.
