Carve Tahoe is free and open to the public at Northstar California Resort in North Lake Tahoe. The best snow carvers from around the world will be sculpting breathtaking masterpieces out of 20-ton blocks of snow from January 28-February 2, 2014; with the awards ceremony taking place on February 2. Each donation made with a fan vote will be given to the Sierra Avalanche Center.
