From News Release...

[Olympic Valley, Calif.] December 5, 2014 – Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows and Sugar Bowl Resort today announced the launch of the brand-new Tahoe Powder Pack, now available for purchase online and on-site at the resort. The Tahoe Powder Pack is priced at only $399 and includes a total of six days of skiing or riding at Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows and Sugar Bowl Resort. The Tahoe Powder Pack is valid every day of the 2014-15 winter season with absolutely no blackout dates, offering skiers and boarders more access to the mountains during the most popular dates of the year.

“We’re excited to offer the brand-new Tahoe Powder Pack to our guests and fans. This 6-day pack is unlike anything we’ve offered before. It’s the perfect option for intermediate skiers and riders who only make a few trips up to Tahoe each season but still want to hit the slopes during our biggest holiday weekends,” states Cara Whitley, chief marketing officer for Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows.

The brand-new product is on sale now through Dec. 20 – just in time for winter’s arrival. Recent storms have dropped more than two feet of fresh snow in the last seven days at all three mountains. More winter weather is in the forecast, with the possibility of additional snowfall through Monday.

“The Tahoe Powder Pack is the perfect way for skiers and riders to enjoy this early-season snow at all three resorts,” said John Monson, director of sales & marketing at Sugar Bowl. “And with the holidays right around the corner this could be the perfect gift for that certain special skier or rider, allowing them to hit the slopes at North Lake Tahoe’s best three resorts all season long.”

Palisades Tahoe is open for the 2014-15 winter season with 9 lifts for skiing and riding, along with scenic Aerial Tram rides, snowtubing, ice skating, yoga, shopping and dining. The recent snowfall allowed the resort to open two new chairlifts today: Mountain Meadow and Bailey’s Beach. Additional terrain openings are expected tomorrow, with the opening of Siberia Express, Shirley Lake Express and Emigrant chairlift. Alpine Meadows is scheduled to open to the public one week from today on Friday, December 12.

Sugar Bowl Resort is scheduled to open for the 2014-15 winter season, their 75th anniversary, this Saturday, Dec. 6 with 1,500 vertical of top-to-bottom skiing and riding on 3 lifts and 10 open trails.
