Hot August Nights - (Tues thru Sun) Reno hosts the largest classic car and nostalgic event in the country.  Restored hot rods and sexy muscle cars give enthusiasts a first hand experience of popular decades gone by.  Lots of music, parties, and cruises planned all over the area from Reno to Tahoe! Ta-Hoe-Nalu Paddle Festival - Starts Friday at Kings Beach State Park with registration and a party at the beach featuring Mama's Cookin.  Also full food and beverage court.  Saturday is the opening ceremony complete with polynesian dancers!  Then a 10-mile & 2-mile race, a World Record attempt, a kid's race, sand-castle contest, and more.  Sunday has a 4-mile race and the exciting Elite Race Eliminations & Finals Sprint for $10,000 prize money!  Paddle Festival Info...

Northstar Mountain Run - Classic 10.2K run starting at the Village at Northstar and finishing at the top of Mt. Pluto. The course ascends single track and double track, starting at 6,330' and ending at 8610'.  This event is well organized and ran by Big Blue Adventure.  

Tahoe Treasures TourAmerican Assoc. of University Women (AAUW) presents Tahoe Treasures Tour of nine Incline Village homes, gardens, and art collections.  Tea and tapas will be served at two locations. Live Music Northstar-at-Tahoe - Enjoy live music in the Village at Northstar this summer.  Live music will take place every Saturday and Sunday from June 15 - August 25, 2013. Saturday's show is The Core Shots, and Sunday's show is  Lava Moon.
