Olympic Valley, Calif. – Once again, Resort at Squaw Creek™ is offering a terrific way to reward Dad with outdoor recreation and relaxation at Lake Tahoe this Father’s Day.  The Father’s Day Getaway features two nights in a Deluxe Guestroom, a 3-hour fly fishing class on the resort’s private ponds, and a gourmet dinner for two prepared by Chef de Cuisine Chad Shrewsbury in Six Peaks Grille.  The package starts at $399 per room, per night for two people, plus taxes and daily resort fee.  The offer is valid June 14 through 16, 2013.

The fly fishing Cast N’ Catch class included in the package is led by certified fly fishing instructor Matt Heron, who brings over twenty years of fly fishing experience with him.  The class features an hour-and-a-half casting lesson, which leads into an hour-and-a-half of guided fishing on the private, stocked Resort at Squaw Creek™ ponds.
Matt Heron joins the group for dinner in Six Peaks Grille on Saturday night, with guests invited to choose from a variety of gourmet starters and entrees on the Six Peaks Grille menu.  Additional guests may be added to the dinner for $40 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
