The 2 millionth 'Wet Woody', a potent and popular rum drink that's the signature libation of Gar Woods Grill & Pier, was served recently and Tahoe TV was there to catch the scene.

The winning drink was ordered by and served to Don and Pat Hoger of Truckee, CA. who were also awarded with a trip to Puerto Rico.

"I've been drinking these for years and we planned to be here today," commented Hoger. "This is a real honor."

Gar Woods, which sits right on the water in North Lake Tahoe's Carnelian Bay, and it's sister lakefront restaurant on the South Shore, the Riva Grill, have been serving Wet Woodys for 24 years. The 1 millionth was delivered just eight years ago in 2004.

"It's a great way to end the summer. The Wet Woody has been hugely popular," said owner Tom Turner. "It's a tremendous drink."
