We are right in the middle of our fantastic summer season and there are tons of things to get out and see, do, eat & drink! Here's a look at some top picks for the days ahead...

Tuesday, July 17:
King’s Beach Farmers’ Market - At the Kings Beach State Recreation Area. Come shop for fresh fruits & vegetables while taking in views of the lake and sand between your toes. 9am - 1pm.

American Century Celebrity Golf Championship - South Lake Tahoe. A week of play action excitement kicks off today as pro-athletes and Hollywood celebrities compete for their share of a $600,000 purse and the coveted American Century Championship Cup. Tuesday you have a chance to play an exciting round of golf at Edgewood Tahoe with one of many top celebrity players, with many more events continuing all week.

Live Music at High Camp  – Palisades Tahoe. Head on up to High Camp every Tuesday at 1 pm for live music by the pool.

Squaw Valley Bluesdays - Village at Palisades Tahoe. Live blues music from exceptional lineup of artists, plus great deals on food and drink. This week: Ron Hacker & the Hacksaws.

CBC Red Tuesdays - DJ’s from all over the world perform free sets beginning at 11 pm.  This week: Sinjin Hawke & Zora Jones from Barcelona, Spain.

Wednesday, July 18:
Movies on the Beach - Commons Beach, Tahoe City. This week: Goonies (PG). Movies start at dusk.

Truckee Free Concerts - Truckee River Regional Park. This week: The Blues Monsters

Crystal Bay Casino Presents - Chris Robinson Brotherhood – Crystal Bay Club. Chris Robinson makes his 1st appearance in Tahoe with his new band. 9 pm.

Thursday, July 19:
Tahoe City Farmer's Markets continue at (note new location) Tahoe Lake School, behind Tahoe City, from 8am-1pm.

Wolfdale’s Farmers Market Workshops - Tahoe City. Meet Chef Douglas Dale and shop with him at the local Farmers Market. Pick the freshest ingredients and head back to Wolfdale's to prepare and enjoy a four-course luncheon.

Truckee Thursdays - A full-scale community street festival, farmer's market, and more. Live music this week: JJ Von Briesen

Free Outdoor Movie Night - Village at Palisades Tahoe. Hugo (PG)

THIS WEEKEND (yes, we include Friday):

Kings Beach's Friday night free Music on the Beach presents Serina Dawn, on the sand. 6:30pm

Jake's on the Lake, in Tahoe City, presents George Souza in the grill on Friday and Saturday night, plus Martinis and Oysters on Friday night.

Fri: Crystal Bay Casino Presents Steve Kimock Band featuring Bernie Worrell (P-Funk), Wally Ingram & Steve Hess (Govt. Mule). In the Crown Room. Tickets: (775) 833-6333

Fri/Sat: Star Gazing Tours - A unique and educational night under the stars at Northstar. Every tour is as different as the starry skies above. Offered both Friday & Saturday evening.

Sat: Squaw Classic Car Show -Rev it up on Saturday at Palisades Tahoe at a Classic Car Show from 9am-4pm.

Sat/Sun:  Wild West Weekend  - Palisades Tahoe High Camp. Yeehaw cowpokes! The High Camp Corral will be filled with all sorts of western-style fun including live music, pony rides for children, petting zoo, and are all free with an Aerial Tram ticket. 12 – 4

Sat: Tahoe Donner Summer Concert - Sam Bush. Tahoe favorites Dead Winter Carpenters will open for bluegrass legend Sam Bush starting at 6:30 pm.

ARTown has taken over Reno with events, shows, concerts, demonstrations, theater, and much more, every day and night all through July.

The Crystal Bay Casino presents a free show by Old Man Markley Friday night and The White Buffalo on Saturday.

Sunday: Tahoe City's Concerts at Commons Beach welcomes Mumbo Gumbo. 4-7pm.
