The Tahoe Yacht Club has selected over 80 of the most prestigious restored boats in the country including 30 classic Gar Woods to compete at the 39th annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’ Elegance Wooden Boat Show, being held at the Sierra Boat Company in Carnelian Bay, August 12 – 13, 2011.

Among the entries, the show will boast 30 Gar Woods, including the historically acclaimed Thunderbird, all in one location for enthusiasts to view close up and personal at the Sierra Boat Company docks.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.LakeTahoeConcours.com. Single-day passes are $25 and two-day passes are $35. Prices increase $5 at the gate. Children under 12 are free.

The two-day event runs from 10 am to 4:30 pm on Friday, August 12 and from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, August 13. In addition to the 80+ classic beauties to view and appreciate, the show is filled with unique vendors, music, great food, unparalleled lake views and a variety of entertainment.
