Thursday, June 30:
Tahoe City lakeside Farmer's Markets at Commons Beach from 8am-1pm.
Truckee Thursdays go full-bore this week. A popular local community street festival, Truckee Thursdays feature a farmer's market, live music, vendors, kids' stuff and more. Live music this week comes from Buster Blue, and the week's sponsor is AAA. A portion of the proceeds will go to Relay for Life.
The Village at Northstar throws Thursday Night Skate Night, this week featuring Madonna and 80's music.
The High Fives Foundation presents the 3,000 Words Fundraiser a benefit for High Fives Foundation, Biking for a Better World and Arne Backstrom Memorial Fund. Fifty Fifty Brewery in Truckee. [more]
Friday, July 1:
Palisades Tahoe USA kicks off the weekend with the July 4th Arts & Crafts Festival (through the 3rd), and the first of the new monthly "KT Tribute" concerts. This week's free concert, held at the bottom of KT-22, features "Stung" - a tribute to The Police.
The North Tahoe Business Association presents Kings Beach Music on the Beach - featuring The Blues Monsters. 6:30pm.
Saturday, July 2:
Northstar-at-Tahoe hosts their annual Beerfest & Bluegrass Festival, with beer tasting from 25+ breweries and live music.
Palisades Tahoe USA opens for skiing and snowboarding through Monday. Details.
Alpine Meadows opens for skiing and snowboarding through Monday. Details.
Kirkwood opens for skiing and snowboarding. Details.
Sunday, July 3rd:
Skiing and riding continue at Palisades Tahoe USA, Kirkwood and Alpine Meadows.
Palisades Tahoe USA hosts the 21st annual Lake Cushing Crossing, plus a free concert by Big Head Todd & the Monsters, and a Fireworks show. Details.
Tahoe City hosts the Concerts on Commons Beach, featuring the Mark Sexton Band.
A Tahoe community Celebration of Life will be held Sunday afternoon in honor and remembrance of those that have moved on, and in recognition of the wonderful lives we share here in Tahoe. Details on Facebook.
North Lake Tahoe hosts a huge fireworks show and deck/beach party in Kings Beach on Sunday afternoon at the North Tahoe Event Center. Details.
