The Tahoe City Community Food Drive is under way through Thursday. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off at the Tahoe City Chiropractic offices on the West Shore.Lakeside Pizza in Tahoe City also has a holiday food drive underway for Project Mana in association with the Tahoe City Nursery School.

Wednesday, Nov 11:
The Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences hosts a panel discussion to wrap up the World Water Issues Film Festival.

Thursday, Nov 12:
Thursday evening, Northstar-at-Tahoe hosts a pre-season Ski Conditioning Camp in the Village at Northstar.

This Weekend: It's all about you, ladies...

Friday, Nov 13:
Head to For Goodness Sake in Truckee for a Women Empowering Women event.

Saturday, Nov 14:
Women's Wellness Weekend kicks off in the Village at Squaw Valley (through Sunday).

Tahoe Cross Country holds their 10th annual Ski Swap with the best deals around on nordic skis, equipment and accessories.

And, Girls on the Run Sierras hosts the Lunafest Film Festival on Saturday evening.

Sunday, Nov 15:
Head to Donner Lake for the annual Turkey Trot Fun Run.

ON THE MUSIC FRONT...
Saturday night, BB King plays the Silver Legacy in Reno, while Jose Feliciano comes to Harrah's Tahoe on the South Shore. Moody's Lines up the jazz with the Joe Grissino Trio on Friday and Valerie V on Saturday. The Crystal Bay Casino welcomes The Saddle Tramps for a free show Friday night, and bluegrass with Sandpaper Mittens on Saturday.
