Weekly Weather Outlook

Sunny skies dominate the forecast this week, with typical fall temps along for the ride. The recent snow and wind was a nice reminder and a convenient tap on the shoulder, kicking many folks' pre-winter preparations into high gear. This week's forecast looks ideal for getting those lingering things done. North and East winds will keep it crisp early on. Temperatures around Tahoe will ease on up to the upper 50's by Friday. Overnight lows will start in the mid-20's and rise to the mid-30's by Thursday night. In Truckee, daytime temps will fallow suite, with overnight lows hovering in the upper 20's to the low 30's.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 46. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. East wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. East wind around 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25. East wind around 10 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 57. East wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 31.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 60.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 59.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 59.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 33.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 64.
