For the entire month of July, Artown offers nearly 500 events ranging from live music, dance, theater and performances to visual arts, workshops, multicultural events and tours. The Festival brings distinguished artists from around the world, across the country and those that live in our community all for the sake of cultural diversity and artistic innovation. The cornerstone of the festival is it’s free events, more than 60 percent throughout July.

Artown events take place at approximately 115 locations throughout Reno, Sparks and include venues at Lake Tahoe and Virginia City. The festival’s main location is Wingfield Park, located along the Truckee River in downtown Reno.

The National Endowment for the Arts called Artown one of the most comprehensive art festivals in the country.
