Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation 17th Annual Gourmet Asado, August 22nd, 1-5pm.  The 17th Annual Gourmet Asado is the annual fundraiser for the Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation and will be held at the Palisades Tahoe Ski Area, slopeside on the base lodge deck.  The LTSCF offers financial assistance every year to dozens of alpine ski racers in the North Tahoe / Truckee areas.  In addition to the Argentinian Asado, food is prepared by many of the top restaurants in Tahoe City and Truckee.  There will also be a silent auction along with a raffle, offering fabulous prizes - skiing and non-skiing related.
