Cycle Paths is located in the heart of the most beautiful place on earth, with great road riding and amazing mountain biking. We started on Lake Tahoe's beautiful westshore, in Sunnyside, ask one of the nation's first mountain bike touring companies. 
Over the first few years, Cycle Paths morphed into one of the area's premier bike shops, specializing in all things 
mountain bike related. 
 
 In 2005, Cycle Paths expanded and opened a second shop in Truckee, and added road bikes to the mix.. In the last 5 years, the Truckee shop became our real main focus, as the majority of our local patrons are there, and the plethera of awesome singletrack in the community has grown exponentially. We are also proud to announce that our road team, Marc Pro - Strava, finished 2nd Place Overall, this year in the California Race Series. 
 
It is with a sad heart, that we announce the closing of the westshore shop. After 24 years, it was a tough call, be we feel the time is right. It's been a long and awesome journey, and a big thanks to all of our patrons over these many years. 
 
The good news is that we are wholeheartedly commited to our Truckee shop, and with renewed focus, we see the 2015 season as the best one yet to come. We are once again offering tours and shuttles, the best bike brands, a sweet fleet of demo bikes, and a great selection of clothing and accessories. To our loyal westshore customers, please come and see us in Truckee; we will take good care of you.
