Squaw To Open Up New Runs

Palisades Tahoe is underway with a new Forest Health Project to expand and enhance its lower mountain skiable terrain. The forest-thinning project will remove thousands of dead or diseased trees in the Red Dog region of the lower mountain.

More Lifts, Terrain To Open at Squaw | Alpine

Following extensive snowmaking and ample recent snowfall, Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows is set to open more lifts and terrain on Friday, Dec. 2nd. Summit chair will open at Alpine Meadows for top-to-bottom skiing and riding, and at Palisades Tahoe, two additional upper mountain lifts are scheduled.

Squaw/Alpine To Host World Cup

The fast-paced excitement of skicross and snowboardcross will come to Palisades Tahoe March 4-8, 2015, with the resort hosting an Audi FIS Skicross World Cup and FIS Snowboard World Cup. This will be the first time a World Cup event has been held at Palisades Tahoe since the FIS Alpine World Cup in 1969.
