Always a favorite! Tahoe City lakeside Farmer's Markets continue at Commons Beach from 8am-1pm.

Truckee Thursdays, a full-on community street festival, farmer's market, beer garden, and more. Live music this week from Truckee's own Dead Winter Carpenters with the non-profit focus this week on Tahoe Women's Services.

TGI Thursdays, the Village at Northstar's weekly wine, dine and shopping evening featuring food and drink specials and other discounts.

The second weekend of the 2010 Lake Tahoe Music Festival gets underway with Simply Sinatra at Old Greenwood.

The second Wanderlust Festival kicks off a weekend of yoga, nature and music at Squaw Valley USA.

Hot August Nights hits the gas for a full on cruisin' week of fun events and music around Reno and Sparks.

Friday, July 30:
The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival's music series continues with Mrs. Robinson performing at Sand Harbor.

This Weekend:
The Lake Tahoe Music Festival presents Wynonna at the new mid-mountain venue at Northstar-at-Tahoe.

The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival continues at Sand Harbor with The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) running nearly every night, and the Sand Harbor Music series again on Monday.

The Wanderlust Festival shares the good vibes through music, yoga and nature at Squaw Valley USA.

ARTown continues in Reno with its final weekend of events, demonstrations, theater, and more.

Sunday, the Big Blue Adventure continues with the Lake Tahoe 24-hr Adventure Race throughout Lake Tahoe, Reno and the Sierra.

ON THE MUSIC FRONT...
Jake's on the Lake, in Tahoe City, presents Paul Covarelli & George Sauerbier in the cafe on Saturday night.

Kings Beach's Friday night Music on the Beach presents the Funky Miracle on the sand starting at 6pm.

The Crystal Bay Casino presents a Johnny Cash Tribute, Cash'd Out Friday night in the Red Room and Live Professional Wrestling in the 'Stateline Throwdown' on Saturday night in the Crown Room, plus Comedy Night on Tuesday, August 3rd.

On Sunday, the Tahoe City Concerts at Commons Beach welcomes The Mother Hips.

And... on Tuesday, it's Bluesday in the Village at Palisades Tahoe, this week featuring Lady Bianca. 6pm start, food specials.
