Friday, May 27:
Squaw Valley USA and Kirkwood Mountain Resort open for Memorial Day Weekend skiing and riding with inconceivable spring conditions.

The West Shore kicks off the annual Opening Day at the Lake Celebration - a weekend of fun events at West Shore and Tahoe City locations (details).

Chambers Landing holds their annual pier and deck opening party.

Northstar-at-Tahoe also has golf available on the Meadow Nine.

Saturday, May 28:
The O’Neill Tahoe Cup Stand Up Paddleboard Race Series kicks off at Donner Lake in Truckee.

Sample unique wines at more than 10 different venues and light hors d'œuvres at five locations at the Village at Northstar Wine Walk from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Chalone Vineyards is the featured winery of this event.

The West Shore Cafe', recently reopened, holds the "Spirit of the West Shore" cocktail competition.

The Tahoe Maritime Museum holds the "Launch into Summer" party.

Tahoe City's Bridgetender also has their patio opening party.

In Reno, The Moody Blues come to the Silver Legacy.

Sunday, May 29:
The one and only 'grand poobah' and 'big kahuna' of pond crossings, the Lake Cushing Crossing will be goin' off at Squaw Valley USA. 2pm. Afterwards, help celebrate the end of the season on the patio at Le Chamois.

Monday, May 30:
Weather permitting, on Monday morning, head over and watch the annual Mike Brown 'Splash-In' - a Seaplane gathering at Obexer's on the West Shore.
