West Shore Café to Open for Labor Day Weekend
The West Shore Café in Homewood, now under new ownership will open its restaurant and pier for Labor Day holiday weekend - Saturday, September 4 through Monday, September 6.
Locals and vacationers are invited to enjoy a light bar menu, a full beverage bar, and the restaurant's signature views of Lake Tahoe from 11am to 8pm. Live music will play on the outdoor patio all weekend. Guests can choose arrive via car or bike; however, in celebration of the West Shore Café's lakeside location, they may want to have some fun and arrive via paddleboard or kayak.
"Everyone at Homewood and Alpine Meadows is very excited about hosting Tahoe's local community and visitors at West Shore Café," said Deanna Gescheider, Director of Marketing and Sales of JMA Sierra Ventures. "Labor Day Weekend is a perfect time for a sneak preview to the grand opening, planned to coincide with the approach of the ski season," she added.
Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Homewood Mountain Resort, also owned by JMA Ventures, will offer special Labor Day rates for season ski passes. All 2010/2011 passes will be available for purchase at West Shore Café throughout the holiday weekend.
