The 2010 PRCA Truckee Championship Pro Rodeo rides through McIver Arena in Truckee July 23-25th with a host of fun family activities and rodeo action.

Friday, July 23 - Kids' Day
A free kids' day will be held on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m.  until 1:00 p.m.  Kids' day gives the younger set a chance to get up close to the rodeo fun with a variety of events including the Truckee Donner Junior Horsemen Mounted Drill Team, games, a bounce house and a Native American Teepee hosted by Kings Beach 4h. Smokey Bear will also be making an appearance.

Friday Evening - Team Penning, Kids Calf Scramble, BBQ Dinner & Dance
Join the fun at McIver Arena for the Celebrity Team Penning and the First Annual Kid's Calf Scramble. The Rodeo BBQ Dinner will be catered by Smokey’s Kitchen ($20 Dinner tickets) and afterwards, enjoy live music and dancing featuring the Workhouse Poets with songs from the heartland.

Saturday & Sunday, July 24-25 - Championship Pro Rodeo Events
The action picks up through the weekend with numerous pro rodeo events including Bareback riding, bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing and bull riding.
