Dec 6-7 (Fri-Sat) - Spark's Hometown Christmas Celebration - Come downtown for a traditional Christmas parade along with entertainment, photos with Santa, arts and crafts and a tree lighting ceremony. Tree lighting ceremony on December 6 and the parade on December 7.  More Info...  

Dec 7-8 (Sat-Sun) - Christmas Around the World Through Time - A sixty member community chorus from Truckee and the surrounding areas sing for you at The Resort at Squaw Creek. Dec 14-Jan1 - Holidays at Palisades Tahoe -  Santa on the slopes, festive cheer and decorations in the Village, and much more.  Look forward to skiing and snowboarding with Chief Mountain Host, Jonny Moseley.  Grab a hot chocolate and nestle up to the firepit, while you listen to the carolers and take the family to SnoVentures for snow tubing.  More Info...

Dec 24-25 (Tue-Wed) - Santa & Penguin Pete at Diamond Peak - Santa and Penguin Pete will be at Diamond Peak handing out candy canes and visiting the kids.  More Info...

Dec 25 (Wed) - Christmas Day Pancake Breakfast w/Santa -  Breakfast starts at 10 a.m., followed by a half day of skiing and riding with Santa at Tahoe Donner Ski Area.  More Info...

Dec 26-31 (Thu-Tue) - Nevada Chamber Music Festival -  Share your holidays with twenty of the world’s greatest classical musicians, as they perform for you in two Reno locations. Nine concerts in six days, with the culmination being a New Year’s Eve celebration.  More Info...

Dec 28, 29, 31 (Sat, Sun, Tue) - Jackie Greene - plays three shows at the Crystal Bay Club including New Year's Eve!  A solo show, one with the Mother Hips, and NYE w/ his band.   More Info...

Dec 31 (Tue) - New Year's Eve Celebration at Palisades Tahoe - Ring in the New Year with a family-friendly East Coast midnight toast at High Camp.  For 21 and older, join everyone at the Olympic House for a rockin party to welcome 2014 in style!  More Info...

Dec 31 (Tue) - New Year's Eve at Northstar - Enjoy live music, ice skating, roasting s’mores by the fire and an amazing fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.  More Info...

Dec 31 (Tue) - Torchlight Parade on New Year's Eve - Fun event for intermediate skiers and riders ages 10 or older who can ski or ride unassisted. Come early to Tahoe Donner Ski Area and secure a spot in the parade. A DJ and snacks will be provided in the bar area prior to the parade.  More Info...
