Lake Tahoe and Reno's famous 'blue-bird' sunny skies are here and temps are set to hit the mid 70s. Get out and get into it! Here's a look at some top picks for the final April weekend...

April 25-27:
Reno Jazz Festival - Celebrating their 51st year is testament to how successful and wonderful this festival truly is.  Featuring talented students, school bands from around the country, renowned professional artists, workshops, clinics, and performances, you won't be disappointed with these 3 days of amazing music.  Get ready to go to the University of Nevada - Reno, and be a part of everything Jazz!  More information.

April 27:
"Mountain of Strings" Pre-Party - Featuring "local favorites" Dead Winter Carpenters & The Traveling McCourys at the Crystal Bay Club.  Celebrate Americana Roots Rock n Roll at it's finest, and dance up a storm with all your friends!  This show is the "opener" to the big "Mountain of Strings" show at Palisades Tahoe the next day, April 28.   This weekend promises to deliver lots of acoustic happiness for all, and is the perfect fit for our beloved mountains.  Show starts at 9pm. April 28:
"Mountain of Strings" - Yonder Mountain String Band , The Del McCoury Band & Tony Furtado are assembled together in this special presentation just for you!  Find the outdoor tented area from 4-9pm at Squaw Valley.  This is one of the best LIVE music events of the month!  It's outdoors at Palisades Tahoe (does it get any better?) with a super impressive lineup of acoustic pickin stars!  Fresh mountain air, big skies above, and all those strings-a-strummin will make you want to dance and smile all day!   Bring your hula-hoops, best friends, and even your Maw!  She'll like it too!  See y'all there!  Show plays between 4-9pm.
