Tahoe City Wine Walk Highlights Lakeside Dining and Attractions

Discover wines of the Sierra, tasty food, spectacular views and the romantic allure of downtown Tahoe City during the Tahoe City Wine Walk on Saturday, June 19.

In its fifth year, the Tahoe City Wine Walk has grown to include 30 tasting locations and live music at four locations. There’s also a “milk bar” and music for kids, and child care is available for parents who would like to drop off their children while they stroll.

Tahoe City Wine Walk is the flag-ship event of TCDA's five-day Annual Tahoe City Heart and Solstice Festival. The Heart & Solstice Festival celebrates the start of summer by showcasing Tahoe City through a variety of events held in and around beautiful downtown Tahoe City.

The Tahoe City Wine Walk features wines of the Sierra and food tastings at local merchants and restaurants throughout downtown. Other festival events include a Solstice Stroll Classic Car Show, PaddleFest on the shores of Lake Tahoe, and the opening of the summer series Concerts at Commons Beach. During the Wine Walk, outdoor live music will be at both ends of the lakefront boardwalk. This year’s event will also coincide with the annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance, one of the west coast’s largest wooden boat shows.

Tickets for Tahoe City Wine Walk are $25 in advance, and $35 on Wine Walk day, June 19th. Each ticket includes a commemorative wine glass and “gift bag” containing items from our sponsors, and entry into a raffle for fun prizes. The Grand Prize is two-nights-for-two mini vacation at North Lake Tahoe including meals and activity passes. To be eligible to win you must complete the Wine Walk with visits to at least 20 locations.

Wine Walk tickets are available at James-Harold Galleries in the Boatworks, Tahoe Dave’s, The Store, TCDA Office (above Blue Agave), and the North Lake Tahoe Visitor Center (next to the Tahoe City firehouse).
