Tahoe City Set For Huge Multi-Anniversary Celebration

From a speakeasy pub-crawl to pancakes on Commons Beach, to dinner with Mark Twain on a paddleboat, live concerts and a town photo there’s something for everyone this during Tahoe City’s big 150th Anniversary Weekend, August 30th through September 2nd.

Vicki Kahn submitted and contributed to this story.

Tahoe City is celebrating it’s 150th (sesquicentennial) anniversary along with the 100th anniversary of Lake Tahoe Outlet Dam (where the iconic Fanny Bridge is located at the “wye” in Tahoe City), and Tahoe City’s Public Utility District is commemorating its 75th year of community leadership.
