Palisades Tahoe USA has announced that it will allow skis and snowboards on the Cable Car this weekend, and hiking-only access to skiing in designated spots on the upper mountain.

After the extended winter and the slew of spring storms, the upper mountain snowpack is still significant compared to most recent years. The last time Palisades Tahoe had skiing open on July 4th was nearly ten years ago.

Hiking access will be open on Saturday and Sunday, July 3rd and 4th only from 8am - 2pm. A Cable Car ticket is required. The first Cable Car upload will be at 8am.
