Palisades Tahoe USA To Open For Memorial Day Skiing
Palisades Tahoe USA has announced the reopening of ski lifts to allow for skiing and snowboarding on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
The incessant wintry weather throughout May and remaining snowpack on the mountain will allow the resort to open a selection of upper mountain ski lifts to skiers and snowboarders over Memorial Day weekend. Available terrain will include beginner and intermediate runs.
"This winter has never quit," commented Jimmy King, Palisades Tahoe's Mountain Manager. "We took a look at it and the conditions on the upper mountain are fabulous. There's mid-January snow up there."
High Camp, Palisades Tahoe's mountain-top recreation and dining facility will also will be open this weekend offering mountain top sightseeing, cocktails and dining. High Camp is open for summer operations on weekends until June 12, when it opens with daily ice skating, swimming, dining, hiking and more through the summer.
