Squaw Kicks Off 60th Anniversary Year with Special Pass Deal
The '50/60 Season Pass' will be available for a limited time, with prices starting at $369.
The new program is a major break from the mold for Palisades Tahoe. In the past, Palisades Tahoe has stayed away from the discounted pricing offered in major resort regions. Squaw's pass prices have increased annually, and have been some of the most expensive in the nation. Until now.
Next season, 2009-2010, marks both the 60th anniversary of Palisades Tahoe USA's founding and opening in November, 1949, as well as the 50th anniversary of the Eighth Olympic Winter Games, held at Palisades Tahoe in February, 1960. In addition to the pass program, a season-long celebration is being planned, including numerous events and activities related to Squaw's heritage and in recognition of the resort's legacy and contribution, not only to Lake Tahoe and California skiing, but the American ski industry as a whole.
The special pass program includes three tiers - Bronze, Silver, and Gold, with associated restrictions and pricing options.
50/60 Passes can be purchased online beginning on March 20. For complete pass pricing and details, visit squaw.com.
