Squaw Celebrates With Holiday Nights
Palisades Tahoe will offer extended hours of operations December 26-30, with a variety of attractions and activities including mountaintop ice skating parties, scenic happy hours hosted by well-known athletes, $5 night skiing, mini-snowmobiles and more.
Night Skiing at SnoVentures
Dec. 26-30 from 3-7 p.m.
Skiers and riders can ski under the stars at SnoVentures for only $5 this holiday season. SnoVentures will have the Tucker carpet open, offering access to beginner skiing and riding, as well as several terrain park features for those a bit more advanced. Night skiing is free with a valid lift ticket for that day or a season pass.
Free Jib Tips
December 26-30 from 5-6 p.m.
Palisades Tahoe’s professional ski and snowboard instructors will offer free terrain park tips during night skiing at the SnoVentures terrain park. This is the perfect opportunity for skiers and riders to learn a new trick, or simply practice what they already know under the beautiful night sky. All skill levels are welcome to participate.
Moonlight Snowshoe Tours
Dec. 26-30 from 6-8 p.m.
Explore Palisades Tahoe’s meadow at night on one of Squaw’s guided snowshoe tours. The mild hike leaves from the SnoVentures Activity Zone and winds through the meadow, before returning to SnoVentures. The tour costs $18 and includes snowshoe rentals. Space is limited. Holiday Nights at High Camp
Dec. 26-30 from 4-7 p.m.
Enjoy High Camp under the stars this holiday season! Guests can take in panoramic, moonlit views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada as they ascend 2,000 vertical feet to High Camp Squaw’s Aerial Tram. Once at High Camp, guests can stargaze and see stunning views of constellations, the planet Jupiter, and the great Orion nebula. Also at High Camp, The Terrace Bar and Restaurant will host Happy Hour from 4-6:30 p.m., which includes 2 for 1 specialty cocktails.
Tram tickets are required for Holiday Nights at High Camp. Tickets are $32 for adults, $25 for youth (ages 13-18) and $10 for kids (ages 5-12). Day lift tickets for skiing and riding are valid for tram rides.
Mountaintop Ice Skating Parties at High Camp
Dec. 26-30 from 4-7 p.m.
Dress the part and skate to all styles of music during Squaw’s themed ice skating parties at High Camp! Each night will bring a new theme and style of music including western, disco and 80s nights. Ice skating is $12 for adults (13 and up) and $6 for kids, and includes ice skates.

Snow Tubing and Mini Snowmobiles at SnoVentures

SnoVentures is staying open late in celebration of the holidays. Fly down Squaw’s snowtubing lanes with the whole family - or let the kids do the driving at SnoVentures mini-snowmobile track. After an exciting evening of playing in snow, warm up with family and friends at the SnoVentures Lodge. Snowtubing is available for $25 for one hour. Mini-snowmobiles are available for $29 for 15 minutes.
Kids must be age 3 & up and over 36” tall to participate in snowtubing. Kids must be at least 40” tall and less than 110 pounds to participate in mini snowmobiling.
