Mountain Top Paintball Coming To Palisades Tahoe's High Camp

Palisades Tahoe USA announced Friday it will open a new, mountain top paintball course on Saturday, June 26. The addition is one of many new activities slated for introduction this summer.

Paintball players, ages 13 and up, can ride the scenic Cable Car up to High Camp, el. 8200’ to newly constructed paintball course which incorporates the natural terrain along Squaw’s Silverado ridgeline.

Paintball, the sport that is rapidly sweeping the nation, is a game in which players compete in teams or individually to eliminate opponents by hitting them with capsules full of paint (called paintballs). Rules for play vary but popular games include capture the flag, elimination, defending or attacking a particular area, or capturing hidden objects in the playing area.

The course will be open seven days a week from 12pm to 5pm. Paintball players can purchase a paintball & Cable Car package for $45 for adults or $40 for youth (13-18). Games can also be purchased separately for $29. Prices include one hour of play, 500 rounds of paint, safety equipment and a paintball gun. The course will also be available for parties, corporate events and team building exercises.

Paintball is the first of many new activities coming to Palisades Tahoe USA this summer, including disc golf, mountain biking and a kids’ zip-line. Activities are scheduled to open by mid-July.
