Moseley To Induct Sports Pioneers at Reno Gala

Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the inaugural Reno-Tahoe Winter Games Coalition (RTWGC) International Sports Hall of Fame Gala Nov. 18 at the Atlantis Casino Resort.

The event will honor the accomplishments of seven regional sports pioneers, what event organizers are calling the “Magnificent 7” including:  Alex Cushing, Lynette Davis, Shane McConkey, Tamara McKinney, Wayne Poulsen, Daron Rahlves and Franz Weber.
 
Moseley, a world-class skier, captured the Gold Medal in the moguls competition during the 1998 Nagano, Japan. He went on to claim the Silver Medal during the 1999 X-Games in the Big Air competition. As a ski industry pioneer with numerous world titles, Moseley was inducted into the U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame in 2007. Currently Moseley serves as the narrator of the Warren Miller series of winter ski films, hosts a weekly radio show on SiriusXM and is Chief Mountain Host for Palisades Tahoe.
