June Events Kick Off Summer in Tahoe City

It's clear that summertime is in full swing in Lake Tahoe with the arrival the Tahoe City Solstice Festival, one of Tahoe City's signature annual events, held this year from June 18th through 21st. Immediately following are the Adventure Sports Week and the Alpenglow Mountain Festival.

“Join us in the heart of Tahoe City to celebrate the beginning of summer. In addition to Tahoe City’s distinctive charms – including convenient lake access, acclaimed artists, fabulous restaurants and notable shops and galleries – the Thursday Farmers Market, Solstice Stroll Classic Car Show on Friday, Saturday Tahoe City Wine Walk and Sunday’s concert are annual Solstice Festival highlights,” shares Stacie Lyans, Tahoe City Downtown Association’s Executive Director.

The Solstice Festival, June 18-21, is also an ideal place to celebrate Father’s Day at the lake. Many people take the opportunity to shop and wrap up the day with dinner in Tahoe City.
