Head to Sunnyside for Fish Taco Night!

Thursday, Oct 8:
Tahoe City lakeside Farmer's Markets continue on the crisp mornings at Commons Beach from 8am-1pm.

Thursday evening, take your pick. The Squaw Valley Institute presents a presentation on Green Technology Investing at the Cedar House Sport Hotel, or head to Kings Beach and the North Tahoe Events Center for Passport to Dining - featuring over 25 local restaurants, regional wineries and breweries, a silent auction, and live music. This is a good time to be sure!

Friday, Oct 9:
The North Lake Tahoe Classic Car, Truck and Motorcycle show gets underway at the Tahoe Biltmore - continuing through Sunday.

This Weekend:
Saturday and Sunday, it's-a all-a good-a at the Great Italian Festival in downtown Reno.

Saturday afternoon, head to Tahoe City and kickoff the Harvest Festival at the annual Oktoberfest at the Cobblestone - followed by the season finale Bocce Ball Tournament at Wolfdale's.

Sunday, Oct. 10:
Mountain Bikers unite at Northstar for the Race For Tara benefit bike event..

ON THE MUSIC FRONT...
Moody's, in Truckee, lines up the jazz with the World Jazz Project on Thursday and the Marucci Trio on Friday.

Chris Issak and Kenny Wayne Sheppard both perform in Reno this weekend.

The Crystal Bay Casino presents a two-punch chance to see Jackie Green - both Friday and Saturday in the Crown Room.

And internationally acclaimed pianist Alpin Hong performs at the Resort at Squaw Creek in a special Arts for the Schools benefit on Sunday.
