Get a jump on the winter job scene at Alpine Meadows' Job Fair. Truckee's Brickelltown hosts First Friday festivities. This Weekend: If you're in need of a winter season stoke session, head to the Snowbomb San Francisco Ski & Snowboard Festival being held Saturday and Sunday at Fort Mason Pavilion. Saturday, Nov 7:
Gear Up at the Truckee Ski Swap. Northstar-at-Tahoe and Squaw Valley USA hold their Winter Job Fairs. Tahoe Women's Services presents the Chocolate, Wine & Roses Festival. Far West Nordic throws a party and auction at Sugar Bowl. and don't miss the big kahuna of season kick-off parties - the Toast to Tahoe Skiing at the Resort at Squaw Creek.

Sunday, Nov 8: Clean up the yard. Take a hike. Enjoy Tahoe!

ON THE MUSIC FRONT...
Moody's lines up the jazz with the Quartet Minus One both Friday and Saturday. The Crystal Bay Casino continues its string of impressive shows with the March Forth Marching Band Friday night, Shane Dwight on Saturday, and two free shows from Curtis Salgado next Monday and Tuesday.
