The first snowstorm of the season made a grand appearance Monday spreading snow across the Sierra and Lake Tahoe, and kicking both resorts and residents into the winter mode as they prepare for the coming season. Tahoe TV collected a variety of video from locations around Truckee, Palisades Tahoe and Tahoe City and assembled this inspirational segment for those eagerly awaiting winter.

Palisades Tahoe reported 10-12" of new snow as of 2pm, with Alpine Meadows showing 11-14". Snow is forecast to continue through late-morning on Tuesday.
