Alpine Meadows To Open For Skiing Over July 4th Weekend

Alpine Meadows Ski Resort anounced today it will host the ultimate Independence Day celebration, offering skiing, snowboarding, and non-stop slopeside parties and live music Saturday, July 2 through Monday, July 4.

“Skiing on the 4th of July holiday weekend is the ultimate way to celebrate Independence Day,” said Kent Hoopingarner, general manager of Alpine Meadows Ski Resort.  “The fact that we’re able to offer such a novelty is indicative of the amount of snow the mountain received this winter, which was more than 71 feet.  Most importantly, it’s a way for Alpine Meadows to celebrate and appreciate its most loyal and avid skiers and boarders.  It’ll be a weekend for the record books.”

$25 tickets Via The 4th of July Facebook Fan Quest Challenge
Pre-purchased holiday weekend lift tickets start at $40 daily; however, in celebration of Independence Day weekend, Alpine Meadows will host the “4th of July Fan Quest” challenge from May 13 through June 30 in which guests have a chance to reduce daily rates to just $25:

Guests visit SkiAlpine.com to reserve lift tickets with a $25 down payment for each daily visit throughout Independence Day weekend, with the $15 balance due upon arrival to the mountain.

For every 1,000 new fans Alpine Meadows gains on Facebook between May 13 and June 30, Alpine will knock $3 off the balance due - up to 5,000 new fans (or a possible $15 savings).  Become a fan or suggest new fans today at Facebook.com/AlpineMeadowsSkiResort.
