Tubing is a great activity for everyone - skiers, snowboarders, kids, teenagers and adults alike will enjoy the exhilarating ride down the hill.  Tubes and riders are transported by tow lift to the top of the hill and tubers can slide down one at a time or in daisy chains.

Guests are welcome to brush up on their skills, take classes and clinics, compete in tournaments or just play for fun.

 

Old 40 Kitchen and Grill

Old 40 Kitchen & Grill opened on July 10, 2011. We strive to serve tasty food to Donner Lake, Truckee, Donner Summit and the Lake Tahoe community. We believe in serviing fresh, non-frozen ingredients without taking the shortcuts. Our community asked for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options so we delivered. Don't worry if you want the perfect 1/2 pound burger or sandwich, this is your new favorite place.

This café serves heaping home-style breakfast plates in the old post office building. Try the build-your-own egg-and-cheese scrambles, giant breakfast burritos and mile-high sandwiches. Sunday brunch can get crowded, though, so arrive early.
