Tahoe City Launches 150th Anniversary Celebration

Tahoe City is celebrating its 150th Anniversary with an ongoing series of special events this fall including "Tahoe City Day" being held Thursday, August 8th, commemorating the actual day in 1863 that what is now known as Tahoe City was surveyed and recorded.

Ta-Hoe Nalu Celebrates the SUP Spirit in Lake Tahoe

This weekend, North Lake Tahoe plays host to the oldest and longest-running paddleboard festival in the world, Ta-Hoe Nalu, being held August 9-11, 2013 in Kings Beach. In what is becoming a flagship event for a young and fast-growing sport, and for SUP in Lake Tahoe The Quicksilver Ta-Hoe Nalu, presented by Nature's Bakery, will celebrate its 7th year this summer, and its important place as the oldest and longest running SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) race in the world.
