New Snow Extends Tahoe Ski Season
The recent Easter storm series left Palisades Tahoe with up to 20" of fresh snow and spectacular conditions, thrilling eager and hungry skiers and snowboarders, and prompting the resort to extend the season to at least April 19th.

[OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif.] April 8, 2015 - The spring storm sweeping through the Sierra has brought 20 inches of fresh snow to Palisades Tahoe’s upper mountain. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the system will wrap up today, with sunny skies expected the rest of the week and through the weekend.
The new snow is a welcome sight for skiers and snowboarders, and has prompted resort officials to extend the 2014-15 season at Palisades Tahoe until April 19, with the potential to offer skiing and riding beyond that date should conditions permit.
Palisades Tahoe is currently open with a snow base depth of 45 inches and four lifts accessing terrain for all ability levels on the upper mountain. In addition to skiing and riding, guests can enjoy live music, as well as shopping and dining in The Village at Palisades Tahoe.
