This nature hike will focus more on birds, geology, and wildflowers than on covering terrain. Hikers will take in the views and discuss whatever natural history stories the group comes across. TINS co-founder Will Richardson of the will lead the hike. Difficulty/Elevation Gain:approximately 1 mile, mostly rolling and easy.

Hikers should arrive 10 minutes early to purchase Cable Car ticket and meet the group. All hikes start at High Camp, el. 8,200’ and last approximately 2 hours. Following the hike spend the day at High Camp, a mountaintop oasis offering fun for the whole family. Last Cable Car down is at 5pm. Hikes are limited to 30 participants.
