Businesses in Kings Beach are sweetening the pot once again and offering cash and prizes in the 'We're Open-You Win' contest designed to encourage people to visit the North Tahoe town this summer as it undergoes major streetscape improvements.

Through September 16, residents and visitors can enter to win $500 cash and weekly prize packages at over 25 participating Kings Beach retailers, restaurants and recreation outlets. The “We’re Open You Win Contest” is part of North Tahoe Business Association’s Marketing Campaign which is designed to encourage people to visit and do business in Kings Beach this summer.

“Now, more than ever, is the time to shop, dine, recreate, relax and do business in Kings Beach,” explains Joy Doyle, executive director of North Tahoe Business Association. “Kings Beach has some of the best -- if not THE BEST beaches, plentiful access to Lake Tahoe and is an ideal place to have fun in the sun! Plus, you can check out the progress that is being made as Kings Beach is quickly transforming into a pedestrian and bike friendly community with two roundabouts, sidewalks and other amenities.”

Entry in the contest is easy. Simply visit any participating Kings Beach business, fill out an entry form and put it in the contest box. One entry per person, per week please.

Every Wednesday afternoon through September 16th, a drawing will take place. If you entered the week before, you qualify for a chance to win the weekly prize package valued at over $100. All non-winning entries submitted between July 16 and September 17 will qualify for the grand prize of $500 cash.
