Plein Air Open Paints Tahoe This Week
A host of talented artists will take to the shores, paths, meadows and landscapes of North Lake Tahoe this week during the 2016 North Tahoe Arts Plein Air Open, June 13-18.
After a week of painting the scenery of North Lake Tahoe "en plein air" (in the open air), the twenty five participating artists will select their best pieces to display and compete for awards at the Artists' Reception and Collector's Party being held at the Tahoe Maritime Museum on Thursday, June 17th.
The Artists' Reception and Collector's Party offers the only opportunity for the public to see the entire competition art show, and purchase their favorite art pieces. In addition, guests will be present as the awards for this year's entries are announced.
Tickets for the Reception and Party are available now at $35 per person, or $50 for VIP tickets, which include early access to view the paintings, compimentary champagne, and entry for a chance to win a $250 gift certificate for custom framing from Carmel Gallery.
